Police are asking the public's help after determining this week that a woman found dead in a Rexdale Boulevard hotel room in May was the victim of homicide.

Police identified the woman as Tina Picoulas, 19, of Niagara Falls.

Police responded to the Comfort Hotel at 445 Rexdale Blvd. around noon on May 28 after a hotel employee found a woman dead in a room.

Police determined Picoulas' death a homicide after consultation with the Office of the Chief Coroner.
